Audiography For Mediacorp Vasantham’s Kshatriyan

Malaysia born Vidhyasagar composed Audiography for Mediacorp Vasantham Production’s Kshatriyan which resides in in Singapore. What is Audiography? It is the audio engineering performed by the sound department of a film or TV production; this includes sound recording, editing, mixing and sound design but excludes musical composition, songwriting and choreography.

“Audiography is also known as Dubbing Foley Ambience. In Singapore based drama’s history, Audiography was composed for the 1st time. Previously, all Singapore based dramas composed of live audios. The music composer of Kshatriyan is Shabir Tabare Alam, an award winning singer, songwriter, record producer, music composer and performer whose works are predominantly in Tamil,”

Audiography composer Vidhyasagar also added with Mella Thiranthathu Kanavu director, Karthik Shamalan worked as a Cinematographer in Kshatriyan. Kshatriyan is a Malaysian Singaporean artist’s collaboration product. Kshatriyan is a story play of a retired teacher, Mr. Ratnavel.

“Besides this, I have composed music for 2 short films. The first short film is Mango Idiot directed by Dhilip Kumar and the teaser of the film can be seen in YouTube. The second short film is Mangalyam Thanthunaanea directed by Kabilan Plondran and the Director of Photography is Soma Kanthan. Both are different genre of story plays,” stated by Mr. Vidhyasagar.

“Kshatriyan is a thriller series on how a Tamil teacher’s son goes missing in India. He goes against all odds to find his son with the support of his ex- students. The making gives a very great product at the end. It was challenging yet an excellent and fantastic experience in the film industry,” said uprising young and vibrant Mr. Vidhyasagar.
