Festival Of India To Recreate The Spirit

For the very first time, High Commission of India and Malaysia cooperate with each other to organize Festival of India in Malaysia. This going to take place all around foremost cities in Malaysia starting 13th March till end of June 2015.The endeavor is to recreate the festive spirit of India in Malaysia.

Grassland of art, culture and tradition will showcase range of events as Dance Drama, Classical Dance-Bharatnatyam, Punjabi and Gujarati Folk Dances, Tamil Literary Festival, photo exhibition of Chola Temples, Multi-media Exhibition of Digital India including Information Technology and Space. The festival added up with more elegant as Exhibition of Bollywood, Photo Exhibition on Chennai, India-Malaysia Archival Links, Exhibition on Islamic Calligraphy, Malayalam Film Festival, Food Festival and Yoga Day.

The emblem of the Festival of India launched recently. First day of Festival of Indian will be launched on 13th March 2015 at 7.45p, with a performance by Dance-Drama Kannappar Kuruvanji by world renowned Kalashetra Academy Chennai at the Civic Centre Auditorium, Jalan Yong Shook Lin, 46675 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This year is the 5th centenary of Indian Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
