iSTAR Is A Stage To Expand Soft Skills

Said 1MISM Founder Mahaganapathy

What are soft skills? There are 7 skills in soft skills. There are communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving, teamwork skills, lifelong learning and information management, entrepreneurship skills, ethics and professional words and leadership skills. Are these related to iSTAR?

“Yes, these 7 soft skills are playing its role in iSTAR. Besides iSTAR is a talent searching platform, the stage producing valuable and marketable graduates from Higher Education Institutions to toil in competitive working fields. I would like to take hold of this opportunity for Lock Up Nathan, the brain child of iSTAR. ISTAR is producing well rounded personalities with versatility,” said Mr.Mahaganapathy, the Founder and President of 1 Malaysian Indian Student Movement.

iSTAR has been carrying the project since 2013. iSTAR had its audition to discover young and vibrant talented Y-Gens. By projecting vocal of MyWood artists’ songs, uprising MyWood Music Industry felt as an honor for them. And not to miss, this is 1st time in the history of Malaysia Entertainment Industry that Mywood products such as songs used as vocal projecting at a talent searching stage.

“In this competitive era, there are good hearts sponsored for iSTAR to uplift Y-Gens. Meanwhile, iSTAR management is not greedy after huge number of sponsors. The reason is to keep alive the brand value of iSTAR since it is not a commercial product. I do hope for successful output from iSTAR,” Mr. Mahaganapathy added.

iSTAR is not going to stop its journey at here only. It is going to be an annual project. The winners of iSTAR are going to proceed with road shows to promote iSTAR and stumble on new young and uprising talents. Last but not least, you might be the next Jaclyn Victor or Lock Up Nathan.
