An annual general meeting commonly abbreviated as AGM, also known as the annual meeting is a meeting that official bodies, and associations involving the general members of the Tamil Neri Valvhiyal Association are often required by The Registrary of Societies Malaysia (ROS) to hold. An AGM is held every year to elect the board of directors and inform their members of previous and future activities.

What is Tamil Neri Valvhiyal Association? It is one of the Non-Governmental Organization to serve people with beauty of Tamil, one of the oldest languages on the planet. The main purpose of the Tamil Neri Valvhiyal Association is to spread awareness of Tamil where it is rich in language and culture in the eyes of the globe. The earliest Tamil inscriptions date back to at least 500 BC. The oldest literary text in Tamil, Tolkāppiyam, was composed around 200 BC. The Tamil alphabet is thought to have evolved from the Brahmi script, though some scholars believe that its origins go back to the Indus script.

The alphabet is well suited to writing literary Tamil and also known as Centamil. During the 19th century, attempts were made to create a written version of the colloquial spoken language. Nowadays the colloquial written language appears mainly in school books and in passages of dialogue in fiction.

In future, the Tamil Neri Valvhiyal Association plans to build a hall, which costs RM 400, 000 to make it well-situated for Tamil development as providing classes to Y-Gens such as Thirukural, Sanga Ilakkiyam and Tolkāppiyam. Tamil Neri Valvhiyal Association wishes to bring together each and every Indian under one roof top and also all the individuals live who in the planet.
