Young Indian Entreprenuer Award 2015

MIEC Collaborates With MAICCI, KLSICCI, MIBA And NSIE

The Malaysian Indian Entrepreneur Cooperative (MIEC), a Cooperative formed in 2010 for the economic advancement of the Indian entrepreneurs in collaboration with The Social Entrepreneurs Network (SeNet) launched the Young Indian Entrepreneurs Award 2015 at The Grand Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The Young Indian Entrepreneur Award (YIEA) was introduced in the year 2005 with the support of various organizations to provide a competitive platform for our Young Indian Entrepreneurs to compete in the business arena. YIEA was introduced so that successful entrepreneurs could share their stories, inspire others and receive the recognition they deserve.

YIEA is a platform for entrepreneurs between the ages 25 to 40 who are primarily responsible for the success of their business and or implemented creative measures or method that result in positive outcomes in their business operation.

Among the criteria as an entry requirement for the nominee of this award are Financial Performance and Growth of the Company, Innovative Business Model, Leadership Skills, Success Story and Obstacles Faced and Social Responsibility to the Community.

The MIEC’s YIEA 2015 offers Young Indian Entrepreneurs a key to the door of business opportunities. Winners of MIEC YIEA 2015 have the chance to network, exchange business ideas and explore business creativity with other winners and other captains of the business community. Recognition through MIEC YIEA not only increases credibility of nominee’s organization but also adds value to their organization.

A Panel of Judges made up of prominent businessman, professionals, representatives of Business Association and accounting firm will review the nomination received, evaluate and interview the nominees and select the winner. An Award ceremony will be held in May 2015 to announce and celebrate the winners.

MIEC will be collaborating with many trade associations like MAICCI, KLSICCI, MIBA and NSIE to ensure quality nomination is received for this award. For further details on YIEA 2015, please do contact Ms Malathi MK Karupiah, the Executive Secretary of MIEC. The closing date of nomination is 25th April 2015.
