We have discussed about Chamber of Commerce, Referral Groups and Service Clubs earlier which may seem to be very traditional. Now we will look into Online Network for Business. Online Networking provides you broad reach at low cost and effort.

Business networking serves many purposes: sales, general marketing, recruiting, job-hunting, knowledge exchange, and business development. Of all these, business development are the one that it supports best. In fact, business development and business networking are closely related. Online networking sites offer unprecedented ways for entrepreneurs to identify and connect with potential partners.

There are several ways online networking through a site such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.com, Google Plus, Blogs, Whatsapp, WeChat and Line and others can contribute to your networking. You can post topics on threads that deal with your area of expertise, and respond to others to establish a reputation.

Blogging is a popular way to create a buzz around your name and establish a cyberspace presence. You can use a blog to discuss issues relating to your industry or specialty, or as a newsletter to post news or an information or opinion column.

Within your own company, you can take advantage of the internet to publish and distribute an e-mail industrial newsletter to your customers. Make use of this method to strengthen your relationship with your customers.
