Cried MyWood Artist Venugopal
“I am a part time writer and a song composer. I wrote many articles and short stories for the Tamil newspapers. I used to be a reporter for ‘Tendral’ Tamil magazine. I am a singer who loves oldies. I did my own albums before. It is namely as Mannai Nambi, Setia Bersamamu and Kaalamelam,” said Venugopal Kumarasamy.
“I spoke about the importance of forest preservation in my first album Mannai Nambi, designed for Mother Nature. I recorded it in India in the year 2004. The most popular playback singer Padmasri SP. Balasubramanyam sang this song beautifully in Tamil and I felt blessed when he delivered my strong messages through his godly vocal,” he added.
“My second album Setia Bersamamu is a Malay album and sponsored by the Cultural Ministry of Malaysia in 2007. I recorded it again in Tamilnadu, India. The ministry liked my sincere intention to bring Malay songs over to India and introduce it to the Hindustani singers. The popular female singer Madam Chitra sang one of my Malay songs. The male singer, Mr. Mano sang one song too. Minnal FM played Chitra’s Malay song a few times and I was happy about it,” he expressed.
“My third album is Kaalamelam. I recorded it locally in Ipoh. I invested a lot of money producing this album myself, as I could not get any helping hands. Everyone appreciates my songs but lack of buying power and I was left in the dark,” he cried. Any music producers, who are interested, please feel free to contact Mr. Venugopal Kumaresh at 0165083573 to uplift a vibrant MyWood artist as him.
